The aim of English in Stage 4 is to enable students to understand and use language effectively, appreciate, reflect on and enjoy the English language and to make meaning in ways that are imaginative, creative, interpretive, critical and powerful.
Students use English in a range of contexts and in speaking, writing and representing, they make connections with their world in increasingly sophisticated ways for specific purposes.
